The seventh and penultimate season of the fantasy drama television series Game of Thrones premiered on HBO on July 16, 2017, and concluded on August 27, 2017. Unlike previous seasons, which consisted of ten episodes each, the seventh season consisted of only seven episodes. Like the previous season, it largely consisted of original content not found in George R. Martin's A Song of Ice. Like we did with season six and seven, we provide the odds on possible storyline directions, and discuss who will finally meet their maker. Look for the odds below to be updated as the months roll along. Game of Thrones Death Pool Odds Photo Credit: HBO. The odds below are each character’s chances of being offed in Season 8.
There hasn’t been that many important character deaths in Season 7, especially by “Game of Thrones” standards. However, this is the final episode, last chance to get some shocking deaths in before the final season. “Game of Thrones” season finales don’t bode well for main characters. Khal Drogo in Season 1, Tywin Lannister in Season 4, Jon Snow is Season 5, and Loras Tyrell, Margaery Tyrell, Mace Tyrell, High Sparrow, Tommen Baratheon, and Walder Frey in the Season 6 finale. If I’m a betting man, I’m guessing that big time players will die in the Season 7 finale. Episode 7, titled “The Dragon and the Wolf,” has a run time of 80 minutes, providing ample time for huge characters to meet their makers in The Old Gods and the New. So let’s look at some odds as to which beloved characters will perish and cause you to scream at your TV screen and be depressed IRL for the next three weeks.

Sorry if you’ve become emotionally attached to the “GoT” characters who are about to croak in a horrific method, but Valar Morghulis.
All men must die on Game of Thrones, and the odds for Season 7 are in. Betting platform Boylesports has released their Season 7 stats that predict which characters will say “today” to the God of Death first. Most are expected — tertiary people who have it coming, like Petyr Baelish, Ellaria Sand, Euron Greyjoy, and Melisandre — but it gets really interesting when you look at the major players, because Arya Stark ranks highest.

Technically speaking, Cersei Lannister is the main character who ranks highest, with an 8/1 chance of dying first. But because she’s on the Iron Throne — a place with a high mortality rate — that’s expected. Arya, on the other hand, has a 10/1 chance of dying first, which is higher than Jaime and Tyrion Lannister, Jon Snow, or Daenerys Targaryen. The later two both have a comical 100/1 odd of dying first.
It has long been rumored that Arya is George R. R. Martin’s wife’s favorite character, while Tyrion is said to be Martin’s. Because of this, the two have been assumed to have the most plot armor. If either died, that would be a shocker.

To be fair, the odds of 10/1 are still not in favor of A Girl dying. But if she does, let’s hope Game of Thronesreunites her with Nymeria first.
